NEXT PUBLIC PERFORMANCE: March 1, 2026 – Maine Pops Concert Band National Anthem performance, Maine Celtics game

The next public performance of the Maine Pops will be Sunday, March 1 in Portland when band performs the United States national anthem prior to the 12 p.m. NBA G-League contest between the Maine Celtics and the Windy City Bulls at the Portland Expo in Portland, ME.

The performance schedule continues through March. On March 12, the Beach Street Big Band – one of nine active small ensembles within the Maine Pops – will perform with the Saco Middle School Jazz Band during its “Music In Our Schools” concert at 6:30 p.m. Saco Middle School in Saco, ME.

The next performance of the full concert band will be held April 29 when the Maine Pops will hold its 2025 spring concert at Westbrook Performing Arts Center, beginning at 7 p.m. Highlighting the concert is a performance of “Give Us This Day,” an exceptional short symphony in two movements for band by noted contemporary composer David Maslanka. In addition, the Maine POPS will perform a variety of compositions ranging from contemporary classics, movie soundtracks, concert marches, and traditional favorites. The suggested donation for attending this concert is $15, with students granted free admission.
