The next public performance of the Maine Pops will be Sunday, March 1 in Portland when band performs the United States national anthem prior to the 12 p.m. NBA G-League contest between the Maine Celtics and the Windy City Bulls at the Portland Expo in Portland, ME.
The performance schedule continues through March with the second annual Maine Pops Small Ensemble concert on Sunday, March 8, tentatively slated for the First Parish Congregational Church in Saco, ME. On March 12, the Beach Street Big Band – one of nine active small ensembles within the Maine Pops – will perform with the Saco Middle School Jazz Band during its “Music In Our Schools” concert at 6:30 p.m. Saco Middle School.
The band wishes to thank all who support and attend our concerts all year in the Portland Metropolitan Area.
