With the 2025 fall concert now complete, the Maine Pops Concert Band is now focusing on holiday concerts slated for December. The first of two concerts is slated for Thursday, December 4 at the First Parish Congregational Church in Saco, beginning at 7 p.m. Under the direction of Tom Lizotte, the 20-member big band will perform a combination of big band tunes and holiday favorites.
On November 5, the full concert band begins rehearsals for its holiday benefit concert, slated for December 14 at 2:30 p.m. at the Westbrook Performing Arts Center in Westbrook. Band members should be receiving their holiday music links within the week, with most rehearsals being conducted at Scarborough High School in Scarborough, ME.
The band wishes to thank all who support and attend our concerts all year in the Portland Metropolitan Area.
