(Photo by Steve Barrett.)For 10-member Maine Pops Flute Choir, it was a perfect location during one of the busiest shopping days of the holiday season to hold a shopping center concert.
The flute choir conducted a 45-minute afternoon performance inside Maine Mall in South Portland, entertaining shoppers and observers with a series of holiday compositions for piccolo, flute, alto flute, and bass flute. Hundreds of shoppers stopped by; some taking in a song or two, others staying for the entire performance.
