Due to an emergency incident at Biddeford High School on the morning of May 9, all after-school events at Biddeford High School – including the 2025 Marcel Drapeau Scholarship Concert – were cancelled. The Maine Pops Concert Band’s Beach Street Big Band was slated to perform in the concert, along with Biddeford’s Alumni Band and the Biddeford High School Jazz Band. This concert will be rescheduled.
The next scheduled performance of the Maine Pops Concert Band will be its rescheduled 2025 small ensembles concert, now slated for Wednesday, May 28 at the First Parish Congregational Church in Saco. The concert begins at 7 p.m.
Six of the nine Maine Pops small ensembles will be participating in a show that was originally slated for March 29. That concert was cancelled due to early spring snowstorm.
The band wishes to thank all who support and attend our concerts all year in the Portland Metropolitan Area.
