The Maine Pops Concert Band will conduct its first small ensembles concert on Saturday, March 29, beginning at 2:30 p.m. at the First Parish Congregational Church in Saco, ME. The Maine Pops is expanding its performance repertoire by conducting performances highlighting flute, saxophone, clarinet, brass, tuba and French horn ensembles. Additionally, the concert may also include a brass quintet, woodwind quintet, and the Mainely Swing Big Band.
While small ensembles prepared for the debut performances, the Maine Pops continues preparations for its 2025 spring concert each week with rehearsals every Wednesday from 7 to 9 at Scarborough High School.
Our next full band concert is slated for Sunday, April 27 at 2:30 p.m. at Scarborough High School’s Winslow Homer Center for the Arts. That will be followed by the band’s annual participation in the Robert Browne Hall Festival on June 28. Festival site will be announced at a later date.
The band wishes to thank all who support and attend our concerts all year in the Portland Metropolitan Area.
A full schedule is available on the band’s schedule page.
